Green Turtle Sandbox BFF necklaces

Remember that little plastic green turtle sandbox? I do. I remember sitting in it surrounded by my mom’s old Tupperware tand scraping it against the bottom of the sandbox. I remember leaving the cover off when it rained and it filling with water and taking forever to dry. I remember playing with my brother when he was little and not big enough yet to learn that we don’t eat sand. I remember sitting on the edge of the box with my feet inside and just burying my feet up to ankles.

The sandbox brings me so many memories from when I was little and now with my own kids.

This piece is a 2/4. A two fer? TWO for ONE 😂omg.

The turtle is enamel on copper set in silver and the enamel has two decals, one of a mechanical drawing and one of a bird. The enamel has been torch fired to mimic sand. The cap to the sandbox is etched fine silver and enamel diamond pattern.

Sandbox hangs on a 24” sterling silver Rolo chain and turtle cap hangs on a 20” sterling silver ball chain.
